Exploring Innovation is an interactive Flash presentation tracing the timeline of American ingenuity, invention, and innovation. Starting with Samuel Morse and Alexander Graham Bell, and continuing through present day inventors such as Steve Wozniak and Jerome Lemelson himself, this multimedia journey explains some of the human history behind today's technical marvels.

3iVision (inspiring invention & innovation) is the web channel devoted to invention and innovation—presenting a wide choice of video clips from Lemelson Foundation and funded program's events. Programming includes the "Innovative Lives" series of lectures, the "March Madness of the Mind" E-Teams competitions, and biographies of Lemelson-MIT Prize winners. Watch as The Lemelson Foundation provides you with a glimpse into the future. Historical footage is archived and searchable. New movies are added frequently.

In his interview for the "Inventors" series on the Discovery Channel, Jerome Lemelson stated:

"What I consider to be one of my best innovations...an E-Team is a group of students who train to go into business and develop products in the future while at school."

Students working in teams gain practical experience in invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The Foundation-funded NCIIA supports "E-Teams" (for excellence and entrepreneurship) at colleges and universities around the U.S.

Inventing Modern America
This interactive flash-based presentation features brief biographies of a small group of world-renowned inventors who share a common thread. Each inventor is a previous Lemelson-MIT Award recipient, and each inventor is a member of the select group featured in the book, "Inventing Modern America: From the Microwave to the Mouse".
