Brian Doran is the Foundation’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO). With more than 20 years of experience in high-growth technology companies and nonprofits, he brings a unique and valuable perspective from which to direct the Foundation’s financial operations, administrative operations and information technology (IT), and implement program-related investments. A member of the senior leadership team, Doran also actively participates in the Foundation’s planning, management, strategic planning, strategy implementation, and external relationship management.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2020, Doran served for seven years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Travel Portland, where he was responsible for all financial actions, as well as its human resources and information technology. Before that, Doran led financial operations at multiple startup companies dedicated to inventing, patenting, and creating and developing new technologies.
Doran received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
